Shilpa Shetty and her husband, businessman and actor Raj Kundra, live in a stunning sea-facing home in Mumbai, aptly named Kinara. Spread over two floors and worth close to ₹100 crore, the house is as fascinating as you’d expect. Farah Khan recently gave fans a sneak peek on her YouTube vlog, and the interiors are as captivating as the views of the Arabian Sea outside. The first thing that stands out is the main door. It’s black with intricate gold lotus carvings, and the balcony outside features warm wood floors and a wall of mirrors. Sitting on either side of the entrance are two silver elephant statues, a symbol of protection in Feng Shui. A few steps inside, there’s a massive hall decorated with antique mirrors, wood accents, chandeliers, and LED false ceiling lights. Paintings line the walls, giving the space a touch of personality. The first floor is divided into two very distinct living spaces. One is a formal lounge with designer furniture, meant for entertaining. The other is very cozy, a family room in shades of orange with a wall of orange. A life-size wooden horse sits in one corner as a decorative piece, while tall glass windows flood the space with natural light. There’s also a small bar area for hosting friends and, of course, a massive gym. Fully stocked with treadmills, strength machines, and plenty of room for cardio, this is where Shilpa and Raj adhere to their daily fitness routines. Shilpa often shares snippets of her workouts here on social media. Connecting the two floors is a private elevator lined with green leather walls, a quirky and luxurious detail that sets the mood. The second level feels completely different from the first, almost like entering a palace. Ornate carpets, rich furniture, and decorative walls create a regal vibe. The showstopper here is an indoor fountain set in a glass floor at the entrance. There’s also a spacious living area with crisp white sofas, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is also impressive, done in a bold neon palette and bold colors. And outside, the family grows their own vegetables in a vegetable garden. Shilpa often shares clips of herself plucking brinjals and green peppers, fresh ingredients that go straight from the garden into her meals.
